
Kat and Jack: Disaster Strikes is a 32 page picture book aimed at kids between the ages of 5-10 years old. It was written by Young Enterprise Company K.E.E.P from Westlake High School in response to the earthquakes in Christchurch.
The book is designed to help kids remember what to do in the event of an earthquake or tsunami through colourful pictures and fun rhymes and repetition.
All proceeds from sales of the book are for Christchurch

Emma Conway is a freelance illustrator based in New Zealand on Auckland's North Shore. Originally from the UK she graduated from St.Helens College of Art in 1990 and went on to do a degree in Contour Fashion at De Montfort University in Leicester, UK.
After experiencing life and work in many other countries through travelling the world for several years she eventually settled in NZ with her husband in 2003.
Her New Zealand greeting cards are sold under the brand name Boopino and she is well known for bright, fun, colorful and engaging characters. Working both traditionally and digitally her work lends itself well to educational material, training resources, advertising and personalised commissions such as customised Christmas cards and one off cartoons for that special gift.
She also creates unique bespoke children's art such as nursery art or illustrated baby names, designed in NZ delivered worldwide
